That was the funny part. Great concept. However, the door weighed a TON and NONE of us could pull it open with our foot. So, you would have to use your hand on the door to brace yourself to pull with your foot-defeats the purpose. Good concept though....need a lighter door, however.

The pic of Toby is one of the many ways my daughter tortures him. It is my ode to the fou fou dog in bag. Maybe I should try taking him out in public like that....scrapnchathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14531203718391481300noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700757600458956993.post-63970892815804373172009-06-14T10:25:00.000-07:002009-06-14T10:35:14.562-07:00<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhHY9UT-cG8-N6-scsM-nMXds-zl8RHCsKS3IiY2asizpDpKqdh3VUzoPkk07znhMAm_ooupsFqbxSQqdPIW5triSIPVPhi2jhrnD_W34EEZAyeYyENOnFTUafG9HtTJUm8p8fO4-Ebtos/s400/P1020167.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5347237995860412610" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7w1VllApdk6zVGR0PCvFJ5uiz4o_x3KdR_e-Ay1IFXczw_49dytU1tp9OP9SEF5BuPyCNNGXRKySE_ynbYuk16gjCezeLs4y18pBwYb0vl4ivASpXkXn_VJYcy0hNfLV2hFMbElsaqE3P/s400/P1020240.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5347237992797353634" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7EKXAGUue6H5B6_hrawwinHGDgjEpd2M2FAQ-a2I8R6NnEC3Gc5FrQ6CNzgjgTgkrjzs7unEOHEZlmvM-lA66jxzTXDkzCDvLsudiuOIFJstCW76jnvIDMVmPXV9rKPKlFi2s_wlnuaNc/s400/bathroomfoot.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5347237987434587810" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 324px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlVADMTUq_yHpmStFWhp7xXCsDV0vFWoSHazbsv6NYCGSp4jGl68kZBoz29f6svj1MC3H3gtdJZwEhsuTrcM4V69ZX82UDNpVJAW_htnz0YiAKGuPEBr1uBmwMLDFRcVmpMq0RaqJsyyeQ/s400/bathroomdoor.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5347237982071203186" />
Just had birthday number 37! My neice, Megan, was born on my bday. Had an ice cream party in my classroom to celebrate earning 20 points! Went out to dinner at P.J's Abbey (yum!). Then, on Friday went out with my friends, Diana and Avis. Hung out at the Spectrum, ate too much at P.F. Chang's, admired the bizarre bathroom with a foothold on the door at The Yardhouse, and made fun of ridiculous people and gaudy jewelry at Forever 21! What is up with people bringing their frou frou dogs into stores? UGH! Saw about 6 teenagers being written up by the Police at the Spectrum and wondered what is up with kids these days. Only hope my child doesn't get into trouble when she goes out in a few years. Maybe I will make her stay in until she is 18....think it will work?

Not much else new. Can't WAIT! 4 more days till school is out!!! YAHOO!!! Taking a road trip this summer to Sequoias, Monterey, Santa Barbara, etc.... Toby the kitten is getting big-I will include a pic. Left my camera at the hospital with my stepdad-so I will have to post pics of the baby later....

P.S. Devyn got Panther of the Month at school and Honor Roll! I am so proud. She asked me to "do her hair" at the last minute. As you can see by the pic, I don't "do hair". My friend, Avis, said I torture her with the hair bows, flowers, etc. I admit it looked dorky on top of her head-However, after she fell in Avis's pool fully clothed that afternoon, the flower looked much better :)scrapnchathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14531203718391481300noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700757600458956993.post-69774457127241127212009-05-16T19:41:00.000-07:002009-05-16T20:07:49.129-07:00Conquer your fears!<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEip44i3XgxEzEkX37g9F1w1nkNpydTiowQqzIahqvpdKUwT4ousWx1OL18aEOD0s6aTMGurECqnnDrIH_07-dKhNoXYJPxJsBrDIs7e2wfBUl4wtgmwT8Ej_hE6_7AK3iv3M4iLR4Ttn71c/s400/April+025.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5336623256350423426" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSdlKvbfRSmauFV0Ns4Aqy-1g8lkYCaa2kkcdyKCMTYw-m17SE92dTI-p3tyJqun1gBcfz268trUgfU8Obggfh5F0eyADTkehrIpIWObXetIVvdcrBnXmpSxBIEN96kH-TkSHWCQk3uHvG/s400/April+018.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5336623252251381810" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiA8VjAAOFHwfzYkQiCZedF2o7xYmy15GAIe4NBbzAz7gG2ReLX7yXFrPewkdxAd6D9PUIpPF_fsShCv7Lz10U0tj4iW-EYW9bWx4lfEgEySCM34vjzdrrSmxV99fi7rnfatcJ2Nm8Hd-xT/s400/April+016.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5336623244822305474" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLqEgiG_UHeOKRPSksMNkjsWv4u9ioMelpX0_PlGZE96mk-KC6xdAZzTciv1yrO5K0J0M4pKcLpH70tk_jh4DnaQKESWhBXWnr3J67CXyCu2AuefSELbbzkdoHqFyCWZjjampJ7nih8DmI/s400/Temple+008.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5336623248758581794" />
Sorry it has been so long since I have posted. The last few weeks have been bad! I feel like a cloud of bad luck is following me around. Here is a quick re-cap: Devyn got sick and the nurse made us go to E.R. on a Sunday night for possible Meningitis (it wasn't but don't EVER go to the E.R. unless you are bleeding profusely. It was a terribly frustrating experience), Ron went to Urgent care with a severe ear infection, and Casper (my cat) got really sick-all in the same week!!! Casper now had Diabetes and needs human insulin shots twice a day. Then, he got a secondary mouth infection and now needs an experimental drug in shot form (but much bigger needle than the insulin) that costs almost $100 a shot-once a week! Thanks goodness Ron can do needles, cuz I can't. Meanwhile, we couldn't go visit our friend who was dying because we didn't want to expose him to the sickies. Unfortunately, he passed away that Saturday without us saying goodbye. Guilt does terrible things to you. I wish I could have told him how awesome I thought he was and how thankful I was for the way he treated my daughter. The next week was rough-I wanted to help, I didn't know what to do, I didn't want to smother, etc. Then, came the memorial-super sad. About 200 people came.Isn't it weird how you can truly tell the impact someone made AFTER they die? Seems a little late....The next week was full of many many many school dramas-should I just send my daughter away to a boarding school????? This week brought an unexpected death of a friend's mom and various other dramas that now seem insignificant. Death sure makes you re-evaluate your life. SOOOOO....I am drinking a random mojito my husband mixed up (banana mango something or other) and feeling a little ill because I don't think it mixes well with my blood thinners....

On another note- still LOVING our new kitten, Toby. He is hyper but super sweet. He crawls under the covers with me and makes the most pathetic meow. One night I commented that he hadn't come in the bed with me. My husband laughed and thought I was kidding. Apparently, he had been sleeping on my stomach but the sleeping pill I took REALLY knocked me out!

Devyn conquered TWO fears! She did rock climbing with her youth group. The last time she went she would just give up and drop down to the bottom. This time, the Rabbi cheered her on and told her where to place her hands and feet. She made it to the top EVERY time. YEAH! Also, (she will kill me for telling you this), she learned how to ride a bike this evening. Yes, at 9 1/2 years old! Because we live on a hill, and there is a blind corner, I could never teach her by our house. We took her to the park years ago, she fell, and gave up. She has this awesome bikeboard so she was just as happy with that. She would ride that thing everywhere! Now she is outgrowing it, and it is time to learn. Thanks to my friend, she gave her a short bike where she could put her feet down if need be, and off she went! First try. Now she wants to go riding tomorrow. I see some long rides to the beach on the bike trails....Guess that means I will actually have to go in the sun! The bike pics aren't loaded yet but I will include one later. I have some cute pics of Dev in an outfit my mom brought home from England though in the meantime....scrapnchathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14531203718391481300noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700757600458956993.post-72428428476220593382009-04-12T11:40:00.000-07:002009-04-12T11:58:26.971-07:00Legoland, Superstar, and kitty love<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1ljaGh2On2F9xXSkZKE4Mu3l1uOVKaIT2FPNRV8gNRFpX15cIGr9Ws3zDewp7-bCKv3B4VcLtuohxUkdiMmO_5WHRqBso1B6AWsWoATcNFTt3Pxl6oRUSWDmIxfnZmRuvCp129TnwNSVe/s400/Misc+257A.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323881190648609570" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgqBUbPAb0zC8V5cpJoToWTngkdMbNXtg9bFRF251TbcI-5NAFLGt3dB0RFNtfiVx_TGnWXo5RRy6OYNpEdFudQCHv9D9w7xIegaPR0IoAOSY-sN_gAgF1hfHOJ5xuphrmqpaljlIaXbLa/s400/Misc+250.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323881185083006946" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdC2N0TeGzSFtBUdxf8fPVu4C5Y-OaSvV9K8KtZm31hlKtMzVULMN8yMQUZ8XBBzLia0Fu_KD3xOPOYjJcmvRpTaoIgTdQ8VmU-SI8bGkg5zby4hPRnCt06VEO3Lb-VMISGZa2KTHcrael/s400/April+223.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323881184256293570" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLFIG0JNL8FTr_q-4gUbkcBkLQvZ2nc1SN0Hx_WUqsp_iP5XZKnue2xxxudcbwTQS_ywzW04iwOxHNsE51sfRe5DLBT1L2mA4M6BNMroSx7917jrekh9LX5mc3ZE6YSLaroqk1TPVJ8hSS/s400/April+082.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323881176732359490" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhS9V4Q6uNkhr00oX-zyBx-6698-RM8dVYYy0HcmrWiHXWfBrLfMhyphenhyphenpd4vEy-bs2Ndj3rg110eMxa8GB30H0B2sNq68td5pzmWsyXVPkEV58m7xqGRXj5XqCQp9oPt4zQzGRlw6qIXk0Pzo/s400/April+070.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323881169077887794" />
Spring break came and went too quickly. Back to work tomorrow-it is going to be rough! I feel guilty because I work and can't always be at school for Devyn's events. I try to attend as many as possible-since Ron has more flexibility and can go to work late, he goes to more of them. This week she gets an award for honor roll again. I am proud of her-she does so well in school and is pretty motivated. Wish I could be there but I only have so many sick days and we don't have half day subs like my old districts did. It is hard to miss a whole day when the awards are from 8:30-9:00 a.m.

Spent break having 5 back-to-back sleepovers!!!! A new record! 3 were at my house, one at a friend's, and one at temple. Then we had another sleepover several days later. Had a great Passover Seder at a friend's house. Didn't get home until after 11:30 and her kids had school the next day! I have never seen Matzoh used so many ways! Devyn and I are eating "Passover-safe" for 7 days-it will be rough. No breads, pasta, rice, beans, or corn. Only ALL the major foods Devyn eats! My child who eats carbs with her carbs. We tried "kosher for passover" pasta-made from potato starch-not quite the same.....kind of like mushy hashbrowns. I sure miss my favorite fiber-laden english muffins!!!! I am having a carb party Wednesday at sundown. YIPEE!

Other than that-went to Legoland (with a 40% chance of rain but it held out), saw the new Miley movie (tolerable) and the Witch Mountain movie, lots of frozen yogurt and eating out, played tennis three times with Devyn, and spent lots of time with the new kitty (who doesn't let you sleep in because he wants to crawl under the blanket with you, purr, and bite your feet). He is so sweet and smart-fetches a ball and brings it back to you. However, I REALLY wanted to be lazy and sleep in. Maybe next break. I will post some pics-I managed to turn some around from the last post....Happy Easter/Passover!scrapnchathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14531203718391481300noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700757600458956993.post-71385865467976347212009-03-30T22:15:00.000-07:002009-03-30T22:16:53.376-07:00teasero.k...sorry, that was a teaser pic I posted. It is really annoying to read....scrapnchathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14531203718391481300noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700757600458956993.post-6692790734474959262009-03-30T22:09:00.000-07:002009-03-30T22:15:21.103-07:00Supermodel!<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_k0q-SVL_kXYllwfF845gSbJ4bliY0eMbMkV9zsfWj59zMkEEk6BMWYdtLxgZB0JRuwXnhkXlAI3DzNTlj1LkcqYQklrICHE4OTvML3qhcx_Moyv5aLuyznDxo18CRc95KAU07OeGwASq/s400/Misc+249.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319216126291651570" />
Forgot these pics! Dev was in a little fashion show at Nordstrom. She modeled a Juicy Couture outfit and some fun accessories. All together, the outfit would have cost over $300-WITH a 15% discount. FOR REAL???? She is 9 and still growing. I told her to enjoy it while she modeled it cuz it wasn't coming home with us! She did work it though. Funny thing-Ron made her go down the elevator to ride it back up so he could get some funny photos. While she was making her lap a guy on the floor below said "what's up, girl?". Must have been the sunglasses and scarf....Should I mention that as we were leaving, she snuck by the MAC counter and applied quite a lot of makeup?????scrapnchathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14531203718391481300noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700757600458956993.post-21708559935784142722009-03-30T21:51:00.000-07:002009-03-30T22:08:27.325-07:00Devyn's new kitty<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDd6W3btrdDfR3JCIR7_yK2iSMeFU1UgKEtJtcbZPhK7j7Otnl21rru6Za-POS8NY-rix945NJMfk8bvK2bNOtmebqXLjEitvFCgmLjs5WOGBfM0NqX35i94EbzQr7ZRnARPWhvhJe1WEn/s400/Misc+237.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319213757970762770" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhueKJyX2RfFdqLbXF0nCI_5EeyrtCHDuboa791ue-hTbirRXRlW5c-XJzX_cYs6Grv7wlEwL4XK55nw8DZ2t27q-Kq50r6QHplAaEKEv7DIFzJzaNvYkn6xppCQQOTEsSwW3ztoQ5__sXJ/s400/Toby's+First+Day+007.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319213755691222178" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhW_44V9FStteglByPptxKuz4lIdp-TxDBFiH5H7w6Kljb-pDHJFLqV2pYdk5war5XehWkKPxpDbupu_Hl2x28IkcCYUUl0xh4XCRKx3eWQyho4VJCchEv8312nNm_gUvqhLQDg0poQ1G-J/s400/Toby's+First+Day+012.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319213744651898658" />
O.k....I admit. I secretly have a desire to be "the crazy cat lady". Never thought I would get away with three cats let alone FOUR!!!! Oh, I wanted to take them all when we saw them in cages on Saturday. Alas, time for a new edition. Casper is turning 13 on Wednesday and Maddie and Sebastian are about 13 1/2. Devyn has NEVER had a kitten. They are older than her! She desperately wanted a kitten. We want a dog but the commitment of walking one, dealing with barking, etc. So....we got ANOTHER cat! He is the sweetest cat ever! A little grey tabby with white paws. His name is Toby. He purrs so loudly and he is a cuddler. Good thing cuz Dev carries him with her everywhere. She even took him with her to the bathroom tonight! In her defense, we can't really leave him unattended yet because of the "big cats". They aren't really fond of Toby but we know they will learn to love him. He stays in Devyn's room for now. He is sleeping in her bed as we speak.

Not much else new. She was the narrator in her Gold Rush play. She did a great job! I could have never memorized that many lines. She is on Spring Break for three weeks (year round). I am looking forward to being off next week. Not doing anything special. However, sleeping in is pretty special to me! Looking forward to Mitzvah Day at temple next week. Our good deed is to go to Hemopet and walk the retired Greyhounds. Should be fun! Hope I have some pics to post. Kinda nervous too. I am not really a dog person and I think it is going to make me awfully sad....anyone else feel that way? Shelters, pounds, rescues...ugh! Tears me up.scrapnchathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14531203718391481300noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700757600458956993.post-61865700179180532682009-03-19T21:25:00.000-07:002009-03-19T22:00:55.566-07:00WOW! As others can attest to-I have been pulled in by the ever-addicting Facebook. Besides this, I have been heavily stalking EBAY lately. I guess I just have a pretty addictive personality. I get on a kick and stay there-a LONG while...

Truth is, I didn't have many new pics to post. I find that I take less pictures the older my daughter gets. I know it is sad-but there aren't as many of those "firsts" anymore. Plus, would I be a mean mom if I said she was kind of in an awkward stage? She has an expander on her palette and only two brackets on top teeth but a huge bungy looking band across the top. This is only phase 1-STILL....it is going to be a LONG road. She has my screwed up teeth. When I was litte and had no room for teeth, they just pulled those suckers! So, I am short a couple of teeth. I also never lost any teeth on my own-they were pulled. Well, Dev is just like me. Lost 1 on her own (she knocked it out) and the other 6 or 7 were all pulled. They are just expanding her palette rather than pulling teeth. This preventative method is a little scary because I am afraid she may need a second whole round of braces when she is older.

New stuff:Last month she went away to camp for the first time! Super scary (For me). Just kidding. We were both nervous. She was fine as soon as she got on the bus and got home saying she had a great time. I worried the whole time-mostly about the camera I allowed her to take-such a scrapper.....It was a camp in Simi Valley run by the Jewish Bureau of Education. She missed school on Friday and they came back Sunday afternoon. It was a good practice for longer camps down the road. She slept in a cabin with 12 other girls. They had 2 toilets and 2 showers inside....she didn't think the cabins were very nice though. She isn't much of a roughing-it kid. What if she had to actually camp in a tent??? OMG! Would she just die? She even asked me if she had to use a porta-potty....Hee heee-bet she wouldn't have gone if I had said yes.I will post camp pics-there aren't many...

Also, only time she could get away disobeying the dress code at Irish dance so she wore green for St. Pat's of course....

Spent Purim at temple for a carnival. Took Devyn's friend Grace with. Had a lot of fun. They played games, jumped in a jumper and slide, did the sack race, crafts, dunk tank, etc. They were taking bids to dunk the rabbi. Top bid was like 75$ to dunk her! Devyn dunked a parent. The rabbi would only sit up there so long. But all the money went to charity. In two weeks we have Mitzvah Day at temple (good deeds). We are working at the Hemopet center. We walk retired Greyhounds. The dogs donate blood for other animals, I believe. It has been a rough past few weeks. Too much going on.....

Devyn was in a play today-she was the narrator-25 lines to remember. I will post pics later. She is in a fashion show at Nordstrom's on Saturday and the following week has a speaking part and sings in the choir at temple. Glad to know my child isn't shy.....scrapnchathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14531203718391481300noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700757600458956993.post-18474478118988337442009-01-17T14:17:00.000-08:002009-01-17T14:41:13.300-08:00December recap and a sickie<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9EZmZ8fh8EnTTFW3I869yeZ64FksA82DTNXTvanmHfkfmtDwzxZ81rcQG_Vmf29BdkAt9JzX_9dpBzM21dk5BHu8zAbbg3NVivYefTL5D9TYRsWm_cvbnpPgBuSDUx97nMnOjkkB_hEix/s400/Hanukkah+045.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5292395821629707890" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKrfKiBcSdTjOOWuLNVkQJpe_Yl5_5BV8mRti3K-W9dD2Qv7c2UDnZeAKy32p8oivxc6oO3JJRs6LlvBxZEv-vaJ9qXdINGTznH2QeLab-75GiD_11EDWb-2zeJ9j1SUsAkPqmWsDyMUVE/s400/Hanukkah+055.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5292395816163096770" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAn-H6Nx3O78F0sROt9o3tvhA7JoZw1eIwldWMKyYdML2ZdQ7L-T0GU6wMpIBzrPTL3C3KuvUPAI3x0podsDs7AmWf4ANdORiJCqU8oxy1BrHfWUmyvTuXogAEUSzHsHhYST2HiAJ92xuH/s400/New+Years+Eve+046.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5292395810851761042" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNQ6MwLtnwMVC0gqkS8SNIi_YPgITmMEj4xekPmjGxrUMlleBANrmn3Zounjqh81WA0Rj6V3KmBsPwg0cxJVHNy76ORgjJ2gojJenxd8J2aKpsSx37I-P6Ey86b79b8zAE24ME5eLxP62y/s400/New+Years+Eve+044.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5292395808132766562" />
WHEW! It has been a while...so, posting some pics from December. Can't believe January is flying by. Devyn's best gift would have to be her pink Dell laptop. She loves it! We were mean and wrapped up the pink mouse-tried to pull it off as "the gift" but she was too smart to buy it. She laughed hysterically and then said "o.k. guys, where is the computer?". Kids these days. Can't be happy with a super cool pink mouse. I mean, not every kid has a pink mouse, right? Besides that, she got a ton of clothes and scarves, purses, earrings, etc. Typical girl stuff and not any of it did she "need". Does anyone feel like their kid is truly a tween now? Sometimes I look at her and think she is a kid still-plays American Girl with her friends, Polly Pockets, doll house, needs mom and dad-sometimes more a teen-wants to dress up, wear make-up, have a cell phone (cuz EVERYONE in 4th grade has one-REALLY???)have sleepovers, is SASSY.....not sure about this in-beTWEEN stage.

New Year's- spent with our friends and their kids, ate WAY too much, played lots of games, talked, and then screamed up and down the neighborhood at midnight(my husband did-along with the huge blow horn he had). Sure the neighbors loved us. Devyn loved Katey's human gerbil ball (see picture)

Now Devyn is sick. Was at a sleepover and they called my husband to come get her. She had a fever of 102. I was scrapbooking, of course. I would have come home too but she was asleep. No point in ruining my scrapbook night, right? This a.m. the fever was gone only to come back after she was moving around more. I hate how fevers do that. My friend said her kids had it for 5 and 6 days. I am glad it is a holiday weekend so we have time to re-coop. She had better recover soon. I can't miss work on Tuesday. Hope everyone stays well!scrapnchathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14531203718391481300noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700757600458956993.post-19618009515105341502008-12-21T11:39:00.000-08:002008-12-21T12:02:33.801-08:00Cheetahlicious!!!!<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQ3Rs2ZWPy3p4fqbZvdgbqNcmMkXKefKuN0hO1Av7gLjdoNlqsF9F6SFvaDJLz7VovmdPReO8l-6is1rb5HHUqJFr38kJc7jOQppcNIUCIo98TRTXjmVgqZMiNH1na1sQBgagmLJK9sFYp/s400/Girls+Night+Out+116.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282335236145739698" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1WAir2rV7q8Q4WDKpe7qoNemGX1JMMDYTDPUxlx3nroVjn-lGWN1t1Nt4oiH7ZUE7n8TKClaSgBjM0xX8tPCtyPPSusq07L29t6kxoLfeKUbE3Tvjnhvbe7aM5wppn6dAi48ypCXHsy1e/s400/Girls+Night+Out+081.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282335235361027714" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhomkqW1HS2QcbJJUfaXW1bMExq_g69P8dbJvlfSgOsUCMrvQMbSerQ585NsQo7hL8_Q5qrsBcKe9IDoUgUjJLAsjNunmv-UFk0O1XTQ4_3REPuF-RClg0cifqEag_3Ys7Tpck_qHsBwPbd/s400/Girls+Night+Out+073.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282335228114413698" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhOgaF0K6LFFDxlb-yjZlJIlJDw0GWcePF3yG8ioSaYwLoD_20RTh4uDU1RckeAn86h5e0PCQTJA0hWm7yIgD6eAoHOg8RqguIzs-VBtPOGubE5pf0Xz2ZC2UAhKiUiR6oPdhs47jQan22/s400/IMG_9224.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282335219116224818" />
WOW! Last night was crazy(if you are 9). My friend and I took our two girls out to dinner-told them it was a "girls night out" (but we had a little surprise up our sleeves). Took them first to Bubba Gump's since Grace (Dev's friend) had never been there. The girls exchanged presents and then were trying to organize a sleepover. We asked them what they wanted to do next. They weren't sure.... SO, we told them we had a surprise but they had to be blindfolded. They held hands blindfolded and giggled. We tried to mislead them "I hear Billy Joel is playing", did you say Devyn had NEVER been to a hockey game?" etc.... and pulled in to the Honda Center. When I handed over my $20 for parking (yes, $20-highway robbery if you ask me) the lady said "enjoy the show". "ENJOY THE SHOW????" they screamed. "WHAT show, we are seeing a show? Is it Hannah Montana???". They took off their blindfolds and screamed. Apparently, they had no idea Cheetah Girls were even playing. It was their first concert. Dev was excited that the Clique Girlz were opening. Not so impressed by them. My friend said they sounded like Minnie Mouse. Cheetah Girls were more tolerable than I had expected. There back up dancers (all guys) were awesome dancers. Some cool things like being pulled up in gigantic chandeliers to be singing in while suspended from the ceiling, dance-offs, cool graphics, etc. It started early (6 p.m.) and we were out by 8:45 so all in all, not too bad and the mommies survived. Was pretty funny when the announcer said "o.k. boys and girls, we will be back after a brief intermission". BOYS AND GIRLS??? UGH. Guess we ARE old. And the mom in front of us was scary-kept going out for a smoke and leaving her kid by herself (maybe 9 or 10 years old?) and coming back with a beer each time. She was up dancing and it was scary too...

Other highlights this month- Devyn went to the Young Chef's Academy for youth group and made pizza and cookies (cool place in Irvine), sang with Choir at the Nixon Library for Chanukah, and went to Disneyland to see the parade and the "snow". She also came home with straight A's on her report card and her first Honor Roll. YEAH! This is the first time the kids are old enough to earn actual grades. Looking forward to two weeks of sleeping in. Have a Happy Holiday!scrapnchathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14531203718391481300noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700757600458956993.post-86867703318665573342008-11-25T22:11:00.000-08:002008-11-25T22:23:56.976-08:00Happy 9th Birthday, Devyn!<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxYRayscZRjWHHdaltWqvcoOS533T1exXnCyuskZfnwekJ8_DvfERlrwc2hILl9w7E5VWp-1VfmYA8wWVIjubT0AXd_5WTW7TcAOtXXpTG91CS4wwzfpMBj0JHP99NJlUlFBLEBkMT51Mv/s400/UCLA+GIRL.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5272847956321396754" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 269px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjc320g4wC0lKSyRJx3eOUWzaRPYpt4JvJZYdewZOfwwguKseMJFl_UhL1b9dGVro4h0dbzppGBcfWJRL_K9BeYgpQ7Zge-1cn67b-PFM8P0CWBSxMlqRCWHX7WosYCYiBy3pVXuYxQBbGR/s400/Bubba+Gump1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5272847953526226722" />
Can't believe it-I have a 9 year old....On November 18th, we went out to Bubba Gump's for dinner to celebrate her ACTUAL birthday. I can't remember ever drawing a birthday out for quite so long. We had her party so early this year, that it seemed like she really milked it. Hadn't been to Bubba Gump's in a long time-went to the new one in the Garden Walk (Anaheim/Garden Grove???). Aunt Mary and Uncle Robert went too! Devyn was thrilled that Auntie M made her all UCLA themed gifts (her future college choice, of course). New jammies, pillowcase, and fleece blanket. So cute! Her teacher at school even gave her a handmade birthday pillowcase-I thought that was really nice. Anyways, hard to believe she is 9. Makes me feel old. For some reason, 9 seems a lot older than 8. Getting close to the teen years-a tween I suppose. Seems like they get an attitude and hormonal a lot sooner these days.... Well, I just have to say this (if you are reading my blog, Devyn). I am amazed to see what you have become so far and look forward to many more wonderful surprises. At 9 you love sleepovers, socializing, Webkinz, your IPOD (stolen from me), your cats and turtles, the Wii, school, reading (which makes me happy), dancing (especially Irish), and singing. You do well in school-and I am happy that you excel in Math and Science-not my two stronger subjects. Is it possible you skipped a generation and got those skills from your grandpa??? I look at your baby pic and you have changed so much. Pretty soon you will be "borrowing" my clothes and shoes. I watch you eyeballing the shoes already.....Happy Birthday, Davidah Malkah ("beloved queen" in Hebrew....)scrapnchathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14531203718391481300noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700757600458956993.post-75801274324191580262008-11-10T21:14:00.000-08:002008-11-10T22:14:44.907-08:00October Craze<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2fPX3F19Cwtavenv5EKfQSA2ujCr7HR3Uz-YjwQFr4teaW3r4ZVa_kuNRM5AT8tP2bPxsmNfrA8r5WgPn23EJljed56bL6zvBHbFGPVkLrPNGE8dBa42e0e59yYQZFOlEkDjxGQqlXulx/s400/IMG_8367.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5267279424643826978" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgr-1FCAGML7JmmrR3ACISncPFlavlphbsApbsPPP5wvTbg9LwWsv4TugaEBq_lFrqrZCA2x3apclcwjPGn1kWoucZ9Cf9uJlgwOD-cGtPwON1XIoSCM8arphhf9P59RVH2jMcFr6v9mnrQ/s400/Halloween.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5267278839096499154" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgcfh9gOhn3fxLDMBsEFonIMXGgMew94lQJSN6ld0B7vuSLtj74HekiaArG8wQRzifcHVFAHuC8Ovb2n4mKsPYAWeVUf7pkpbXpCRP0s4vhJRY0-8TSr-ej4VJINEzzKbdvGXKo0QTKtVg/s400/IMG_8257.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5267278478734253138" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiocRHCfzHxfdw6GhEE75mW2hXIWhgcWFK10C8EmU1oCnD-wXsMjWLODJTz7zTazYegRJt9NG2QwQb8xVkVn0vIxOh4ghD1TRckKsV2RePQOr6h6HbA5a2STo71v_J1BOTNwuYJ6HOlC7YI/s400/IMG_8320.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5267277405032658530" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzcYE9WzMAGQShe9sUW2bVfxnkkyMbZBw8_8OM-DTtKK2xvW-Rqr1BaZoYyRmT5UUKaPstbIi_rjZRTXLtjC9xp4SQHyEHM0ok0NUF0sv6kFzusu3oggAisC5-8Rt61iMjbqKG-uc7ezwt/s400/IMG_8318.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5267272499755326450" />
Long time, no blog. I have been soooooo busy. No excuse. That's the truth! I guess it started with the 14 hour Halloween Crop at the Bee in October. I spent a lot of time helping plan games, set up, make food, etc. It was a lot of fun though but exhausting nonetheless. My daughter decided she wanted to join temple, finally. SO, we joined temple, started Sunday school, joined the choir, and got a private tutor for Hebrew lessons. Guess we are in it for the long haul now. Kiss all of my money goodbye. A Bat Mitzvah was expensive when I had one-a million years ago. Can only wonder what it will cost me when she is 13. Maybe this will be in lieu of a wedding. Can I convince her to run off to Vegas when it is time?

Halloween is my favorite holiday so we did it up pretty big. I had the Halloween Bunco AND Devyn's birthday at the house which gave my husband the needed justification to spend a ton of money on Halloween decorations. We went to Treats in the Streets and of course hit the houses on Halloween. Devyn's birthday party was the day after Halloween (early but we wanted to milk the decorations/theme), and we walked the Buddy Walk for Down's Syndrome the next morning. UGH! I was tired.

Back to the birthday-I came up with a Nightmare Before Christmas theme. It was cool AND pretty original if I do say so myself. However, due to Disney licensing, it was also impossible to find party supplies, games, etc. SO, I did everything myself. We had lots of skeleton decorations, black, orange and purple, bones, etc. We played pass the bone (hot potato), the mummy wrap (with toilet paper), drew Jack Skellington on our heads on paper plates,and pin the nose on Zero (Jack's dog. We had strobe lights, blacklights, and a disco ball. The kids danced and screamed. I bought a lifesize cutout of Jack, Sally, and Zero and took a pic of each kid with Devyn. We made cool frames that I had prepped and the kids got to put their pictures in them. They had glow jewelry and left with a cool CD that Ron had compiled. Spooky Nightmare music and pre-teen stuff. I also gave them sparkly notebooks that looked like presents with pointsettia flower pens that I had made. Food was pasta, fruit, munchies and bone-shaped breadsticks that I had made. The cake was amazing though-our friend made a purple fondant covered cake with Jack and black stars. Everything on the cake was edible except the sticks that the stars were on and Jack. I love fondant but the kids didn't care for it as much.

I will post some pics. Sorry for the long blog. Am I caught up now?scrapnchathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14531203718391481300noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700757600458956993.post-57957359478412184332008-09-30T20:33:00.000-07:002008-09-30T21:00:33.393-07:00Big Bear<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiehOXs_KsUSJnvPtl64vQp5SJBPMV149PNzXcdYJDng3als7nbphWyeFFbBOaKktHrlCgHEpJs5PHdShhKO4yYGStIxL_EklCi0NyoUgwp4XlQ_3Cmd6TK6j3f_Y141irFzvemz7KlzJUf/s400/IMG_7883.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5252030393133811794" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6zW7PgKML-Irp1uoUDeqYYqX7leREd_wKm7dMPtdQSnTGBei-xSuIzoc1tqJ5UISrTs0FNvFK5rKmw3dCamrkVH6plw7b_pRTGjxK7NHI7CO49xlFkAn8tWNxlhUog3jAbNR0lbUtB3TH/s400/IMG_7916.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5252030389272290114" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidj5FFPsHCHQjQTjfwdi5nLJaK1MMk2gSLe4gJQmOzg41M9_2BE5aX5laBNbg6dhpehP67ouEnRxAxTCIaTYcOvvlmeLi4IwnLSv9A66re88OvJ_X1N7tDTwoXoQR0nIgqpqyXkz7y45qH/s400/IMG_7902.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5252030394216324306" />
Spent last weekend in Big Bear. It was a lot of fun. Spent time with my bro and his fam. Went Friday after work and came back Sunday afternoon. Friday afternoon traffic is not so fun.... Went to Moonridge Zoo where they take in wounded animals and those who have been "imprinted by humans". Watched a 3:00 information and feeding session. Interesting-but gross. Dev was freaked out by the dead rats they placed in the trees for the owls. They threw raw chicken into the Snow Leopard's cage. Bears were great-they ate oranges, apples, and corn-much to Devyn's surprise and pleasure.... The raccoons opened up eggs and sucked the insides out-quite interesting to watch. Went on a pontoon boat on Sunday. Dev spent a lot of time driving-by herself. Emma (age 2) sat in my brother's lap and drove. She kept hitting the horn. Was very loud!!! Can you believe there is a floating bathroom in the lake? You couldn't pay me to use it. We docked for a quick sec for pictures but the smell drove us away-literally. Only bad part about the trip-lack of sleep. I don't do well in unfamiliar beds....scrapnchathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14531203718391481300noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700757600458956993.post-89841570481636575092008-08-31T22:51:00.000-07:002008-08-31T23:18:57.775-07:00The Orange Street Fair and a baby opossum<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhv86V3aA5tu7YLUEwpgpbHEYFDJAXaAGqIlhoMeqtbg3ylI8mEyfND1vl66f_uIQHGSyiAat6NuYbAHMUwsd9N9V4gqUdPjHOdzRrBaEoki8PqLYSK9yzBOfldBqOYsi4AIes677kTByCK/s400/Irish.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5240933413829732050" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEFMZherr71BQcrApdU1EwCPqLQ4filYYmH5KLWkDoNN_PTzby6Mjp4_jUsuDBUi1GYxx6xctdruUECJiyq9j6SwW6b5whkm54RP5gbs76P0Rq6QCVTLzq_n50Z-omtmrxGIGlYmODefvk/s400/rocknrollpic.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5240933417579152594" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqLqUJ975IjqHfDBX5R3mI4ToqiZqsLD1MgVU-HuDGtsnkOcbfOJu5t81pduiMBfg-cdwKWKEvNBRZboUqz4uYxaGquwJ5dZzlv140EhkZJ_EYyURyXSpMCHyRRI0ckzVtbALsiOV_0v9k/s400/jazzpic.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5240933419785935250" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjywAWO0fjE5dRpE0jY_eh2ey-iY7ELxG2saRU_G81sp91Mt7CLEk-qxa_UOCgULF2JEAQDdcenQy0psumepAGSbmFB91p83B1Jte2ckAxirklMivsk0wQIvx9Z_4AIm0a59TMoOtP3W_RF/s400/Cute+Girl.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5240933424055131330" />
UGH! Another sweltering day of performing at the Street Fair! Nothing like peeling off your costume in a small, sweaty tent that smells of urine!!! Devyn performed three numbers at the street fair Saturday morning. I was hoping it would be a little less hot than last year (where one of the grandparents passed out!) But no, the humidity kicked in and it was pretty miserable. Two positives-we can get close enough to take pictures and I can get another use out of the costumes that I spent a lot on. So, the first pic is of Dev dancing Irish, the second is tap, and the third is jazz. I was fortunate enough to not have to dance-apparently the ADULT group (or "old people" as my daughter calls them) doesn't do the street fair.

The next pic is of a 2 week old opossum. It was SOOOOOOO cute. We held it for a half hour and did not want to give it back. I had noticed it by chance when I went to walk at the Oak Canyon Nature Center. The worker had two babies that had been abandoned and she rescued them. I brought Dev back after school (even though my friend thought I was crazy) because I was sure that she would be just as enamored as I was with them-and I was right. Dev went home and called her dad at work to tell him that she wanted the baby opossum for her birthday. No such luck! Opossums get such a bad rap. It was so cute and cuddly-didn't make a peep, show teeth, nothing....I will never look at them the same. Of course, the next day at school there was a dead baby mouse under Dev's backpack and she screamed like someone had been murdered! It was quite a scene. I laughed my head off because the day prior she had held the opossum and he was bigger than this poor little mouse. Unfortunately, her friend pointed out that her schoolwork had "touched" the mouse and so Dev refused to touch her work. I had to go in and ask the teacher for another copy! Strange child of mine-animal lover on her own terms. Might I point out that she also holds the neighbor's pet lizard on her chest under her chin???scrapnchathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14531203718391481300noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700757600458956993.post-20332981792436001382008-08-04T06:46:00.000-07:002008-12-10T11:33:40.233-08:0095 1/2 Pairs of Shoes!!!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiv1enYPFg4Mh844hl3PKMm2WFujyXLvGpAZh4lMLd2HKKDKksypNvD16pzS9EjLut6fk7Kq0T8wPL7iPA3FCLeY8gmoa63nkjmiL9yNdAMIawrcrz-kKbmwCf5TeADbTFh_pgC5KckyQuc/s400/IMG_7384.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5230660874634201906" />
WOW! I decided to go through Devyn's shoes-I knew that many probably didn't fit anymore. I have been accused of buying too many shoes in the past-both for Dev and myself. I can't help it-clothes are hard to fit on us but shoes-no problem! I started taking them out of her closet and putting them in a heap. Then, just for kicks, I decided to sort them. Lots of pink sparkly shoes, five pairs of silver shoes, gold shoes, animal print, etc. Dev was at a friend's house so I left them out for her. When she came home and opened her bedroom door she was very surprised. I don't think she realized she had quite that many. I made her go through them and I believe that she got rid of about 25 or 30 pair. Last year, she gave about 15-20 pairs to kids in Africa for a shoe drive. Between her and I, and two neighbors, she contributed a pile of about 75 or 80 shoes! I guess it isn't so bad if we put our obsession towards a good cause, right? I call her "baby Imelda Marcos". I think I created a monster..... (by the way, the "1/2" was due to a missing shoe. I am not surprised we lost one in that closet. I may add that this number includes slipper and flip flops. However, she does have about 7 or 8 pairs of dance shoes that are not in the tally. Yes, I know-it is a sickness).scrapnchathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14531203718391481300noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700757600458956993.post-30533392054992434262008-07-30T21:18:00.001-07:002008-12-10T11:33:40.389-08:00Locks of Love<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4dbpIuw4PntmcBC3Il_lQBmptHiEAEkl2qGnkJD5emHakPkn8qnYwNYhmVJ2UKDZ4xRUw9kVIopumIWkm47eNMw_X61i56ZdnPmIB2EVjWOwRoTYLSneG9E4gSqMV2K-RKn_t7XRL8Rgu/s400/IMG_7374.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229029167013358066" />
WOW! Can't believe it. Devyn cut 11 inches off of her hair for Locks of Love. She actually cut about 13 or 14 by the time they evened it out. I thought she would chicken out. She and a friend had planned on doing it all summer. She had to wait until after recital so that we could get her hair up for Irish. She was so bummed when she came back from Jamaica and 4 of them had cut their hair without her! She was afraid she would look "dorky" but I think she looks so cute. She now loves it-we couldn't get her in bed this evening. She kept on playing with it and prancing in front of the mirror. She said she was going to take her brush with her to school! Of course, her daddy is thrilled! No more tangles or brushing conditioner through her hair.....scrapnchathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14531203718391481300noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700757600458956993.post-3416189934761833832008-07-20T12:18:00.000-07:002008-12-10T11:33:40.878-08:00Jamaica, Part 2<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5X3OIh5zJO3WM4bYor113Zslmz7G4C2yjAniSdAkms4E251BJnOMbG6XCb_IyKvcj9s-MNb_yAc3eXWbrKILAyX009-eLTXpl5UUp3l-nUa8ZuG2ZaDT8uEabWrrUBXBryWAgbIQMsZS_/s400/IMG_6979.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5225179862402244706" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiX7KH6WsCY19qE2I28jvumIfzty3VHLuOe8mCg1AwyziThEzNVEEq9rVWeQVmc-z292YmVczj4eIaRX2HmF6qQc0KenItgmdh7VBNnydnP_3qY2DYabTk16huv_FsKatoRKFiBeEs20Adp/s400/IMG_6983.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5225179866510224530" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhL4F5SLeAwAoAQBNz5mld6VsbJ1NoEnlMUFY8ltV9lzhipoLMTPPqnO4SJA0LJ9jG8KrUnKhmWhrV2FOXn3jkyXX0c8vUPhwv1DZ4ORTLadFmGHIhLvnpL7YmTo_VVLOlr1t9-nZyh45jT/s400/IMG_7006.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5225179875286086274" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirp2wNIShD-LCan8MgHrNpu9hHiDYyw7pNTUviWm96QayqeYFK3YZUg8IVFTpjbWK3xb3UaiHe2yeKuSUBRiS-WO2N_I4uSw7EKoJ49WkAhW6vykIJ642g5Tenhh3K_K7RUjZffGF6hDTs/s400/IMG_6908.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5225179881282245378" />
Here are more pics.
1) Dev with new friends at the swim up bar drinking strawberry banana smoothies.
2) Dev with Aunty Pat-the fabulous arts and crafts teacher. Remind me to never go somewhere that takes a whole day to travel unless it is direct-Europe, Australia, o.k.....but Jamaica-the traveling KILLED me! We woke at 1:30 a.m. our time here(4:30 there) to get to the airport on time. They only have one road and it takes at least 2 hours to get from the resort to the airport. Stayed in Ocho Rios, the airport is in Montego Bay. The roads are scary! There is no line down the center divider-they do a lot of swerving and honking to acknowledge that they are moving over. On the way TO our hotel, there were 2 accidents. So, the drivers allow for extra driving time. We got to the airport and had to do all of the customs stuff and then wait 2 hours. We had a 2 hour flight to Atlanta, running late, of course (Jamaican time= "no problem,mon!") In Atlanta, we went through customs again and then had to re-check our luggage for transfer. Waited about another 2 hours in the airport and ate lunch/dinner. Had a 5 hour flight home. Waited for a shuttle and the one hour drive home from LAX. Gotta say, it was the first time I enjoyed the ride home from LAX on the freeway. Totally appreciated our freeway system. How many times have I cursed it??? So much more civilized than Jamaican roads. Got home at 10:15 p.m. Didn't sleep much on the plane though Devyn did for a little bit. Of course, I am always over-scheduled so we awoke early Saturday to do recital pics followed by the mommy and me class I taught at the Bee. Monday school starts-ugh!

Anyways, Jamaica had its ups and downs.
Favorites:
1) Tops was probably the swim with the dolphins. Dev and I both did it. We held on to the dolphins as they pulled us, we did the "foot push", and helped with the tricks. Dev kept on saying "this is awesome!".
2) My second fav was climbing the Dunn's River falls. It was 600 ft. up. Dev was scared at first but it was fun! Told her to stay low and climb like SpiderMan. She kept yelling "Spider Dev, Spider Dev"! Was a little slippery but not too bad. It was so beautiful and it felt great-I was ready to do it again. But alas, our driver was waiting to take us back. Will post pic.....
3) Horseback ride and swim-not my fav. My horse (of course) decided to leave the group and head off straight into the deep blue sea with me on his back. My group traveled toward shore while I was pulling back on the reins and yelling "help"! The guides took their time getting to me as I was comtemplating jumping off the horse and swimming back to shore. They dragged my horse back into shore as he "did not want to cooperate". A little disappointing to hear the horse groaning as he was being dragged. Made me sad for the horses....
4) In general-lots of water-spent time on the water slides at the resort, the banana boat, the Hobie windsails, kayak, played at the beach and in the pool, Ron played a lot of volleyball. Dev liked the swim up bar-go figure....
5) Met new friends. Sisters Taylor and Courtney (I will include in Bar pic) and sisters Sabrina and Samantha. Played at Kids Camp, watched shows at night, and modeled in the fashion show (Dev).

Nice to be home. My bug bites are healing as well as the nasty cold sore I got from the massive amount of acidic fruits I ate. Devyn's blisters and rashes??? are healing along with the redness around her eyes. The hole in her foot is healing from walking on the rocky beach. Ron just returned from Urgent Care to get meds for the water in his ears that has been there since Jamaica. But boy, Dev sure has some stories to tell at school Monday.scrapnchathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14531203718391481300noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700757600458956993.post-56872531889708438782008-06-29T22:54:00.000-07:002008-12-10T11:33:42.362-08:00More cute pics....<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqrGCzVHa3PBD9RQzTyT6zKehkTfWpPNvBjnSomzZ-UI-AB5OaN0akMDKjmCVUINnhRU-Y0STp9J63ALk2qPciwYJwkXd5i1rOIypO-9ATm3UJjXiGPQxz2iCbOmDK5AhnWhq285qdaFvt/s400/IMG_6322.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5217556241841919506" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitxJ_FNBOwRBCZeRLSRAqAE_V1NybO_3SWYpYwmjapVnAeXFk52IRFktaz6ac6DkrevHZ_Xw3fxJID78rCHjJwPH89RonRYXhYgL7dPCrKqtmXan5hSFLNfzo0mNO0u8govjFQ24zyNrIN/s400/IMG_6395.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5217556246096442514" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiI-cygBfu89CY7OFzcJdZQ09Vsu8CByjm-SCZx4tEIvYHfg8eHJVelMVrTrAnM94kIb4xWRfHsU6KGgmlkQY69-tzrLlFNvdBRCYScZUssCcc57WJofe1qsdbo5NC_Aq8gJe7-d3GXol6/s400/IMG_6452.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5217556255864397970" />
I LOVE my little neice, Emma. She is 22 months old and she and Devyn get along really well. If Dev is out of sight, Emma says "where Dev go?". My brother, sis-in-law, and Emma went with us to Kidspace today. Devyn and my other neice, Amanda, (age 11) played with Emma. Here are some pics- (the guy is my brother, the pic of the girls together is Dev with her two cousins :)

I haven't had any baby/toddler pics to scrap for a while so Emma is my new victim- I mean "subject".scrapnchathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14531203718391481300noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700757600458956993.post-47712532747952538962008-06-29T22:32:00.001-07:002008-12-10T11:33:43.466-08:00Exhausted!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYV-lnQyjIUQEa-wBBlO8YXbZzXTHTchgHQ5OdMNGl476KQWVu35HphGyt4-Q0hnk_4j7bvlaFspUnrtN_P8vLg0DAQfqR54f_r776mRAGJ0wO1O7bZtkW0gMt18FZ1WKGC6PrVH4Rcfql/s400/IMG_6309.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5217544256955602642" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibjAtKu4eXiM_b02uG7iUpc9lPYykgBY57oIFMF7MBDWWn2jTfgha4PM4Sz1q97mIW-30TQyn12rv2k-dQNmnh3HoDmlS0BPsKbMNUstMqQJ4fISNl0qhYkJ5mlPQPaEaWNPGG3pflcZIa/s400/IMG_6330.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5217544265840986066" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOJUfsqDMRY37Tbte9Nm_6a8Y0nqVClnypnYYLKs-MWDp8XAYgLGFRW3xcsPo6kFIBeEWF6aklEUHI6AKmK1QBxXzvaOPhvb_ss1TVjR1ZDdtbXuMFMDsMqMxjm-jHwY_ekmbIboTxSlMd/s400/IMG_6359.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5217544270020729330" />
WHEW! The last days have killed me! My husband's family is visiting from Seattle. We have done Disneyland, Knott's, The Pirate Dinner Show, Kidspace Museum in Pasadena, the Swap Meet, and various swimming, shopping and eating activities. It would be hard doing these things alone but I don't tolerate heat well-it makes me grumpy (o.k.....grumpier)!!! After the museum today we went to Old Towne Pasadena and had Frozen Yogurt. My daugter and niece had to use the bathroom. Every door said "no public bathrooms". We asked people and FINALLY found a bathroom through a courtyard near the movie theater. However, it was not even marked. We had to ask numerous people. I thought my daughter was going to pee her pants! So frustrating. I hesitate to ever consume any foods or liquids when in Pasadena again....Anyways, here are pics from the pirate show and the kids museum. If you haven't been....you should go! We were there for almost 4 hours! The water features were a hit by I was surprised how much the big kids enjoyed riding big tricycles with helmets on!!!scrapnchathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14531203718391481300noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700757600458956993.post-38883130351015658452008-06-12T21:07:00.000-07:002008-12-10T11:33:45.404-08:00Recital<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBf0oIitQPvQSz2zzLifFHHYEqf6uR6W2X0tN_yezyU9mUOlXMWlnQTAimUgBVpzTVQ3U3HMWyiNBf58kAcyRpBC56MwhEApa76wgdM47erB7R1XhNr1QJhzOZQ7sKLLBCNVKCCbfnsBxy/s400/IMG_5882.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5211215873672130818" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMKd56Tf2CE6qaJRCnByf6kl9ST2FX1LFTg6_shUBNsSTZxv_wbm21zfp3ZOlSOSqh_qpOWxBMkyCtBPpHAA7cImrbA2MvLAeqZu9Cj_tO6CU7XfpfxbhTQIvN5TiUDHWOFTS4fJp4r708/s400/IMG_5854.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5211215882315256050" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpjDyb-P8oPR2JrICtPU0hpkWyf0PCfa71A6tT-cDLzitu9wgFRbFGjEPCqG1_qwn3q9TTtvOTw1W9hjbJXtkU4MGcbSVrvK0vsf4DOD8JK1Nb6Ig_hqLxkszQ7GrjbC1k_uF-xvbGdFKU/s400/IMG_5889.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5211215894462138562" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEignlBT9BZMknCD9-MczCTIseJLMRnznDvllnd1M-_D1p_vDEHNSPW_ULTCfvRLioo7gf5WKhdcn3MGNnp8zDDowJP-P7VkTp7G29t_56ufSQjFL5llzW1SO_PrRjwyx_7-oGU1HabcS_XA/s400/IMG_5939.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5211215897980652610" />
June 12, 2008

One studio recital down, one studio to go. Glad that is done. Took 63 curlers and 2plus hours to do her hair! Were dropping one studio and sticking to Val Weaver's. Probably will add Hip Hop. We will be up to 4 hours of dance a week. I'm a little concerned with 4th grade starting in July. Lots of homework-they drag books home over the weekends....ugh!

Devyn got an award for Super Speller at school. She only missed ONE word ALL YEAR! They had 33 spelling tests!!!! So much like me-I always loved spelling. (In case you are wondering, she missed "design". It was killing me so I asked the teacher). It was a little sneaky. That test had all of the "ight" words (sight, fright, knight). SO, she added an "h" after the "g" in design. Oh well, probably won't forget that again.

Turned 36 yesterday-that was traumatic. Funny, my friend at school turned 28 and celebrated her birthday for several weeks. Oh, those were the days. A kid at school asked me how old I was. I said "old". He said "sixty???". Gotta love those little guys.....five more days of school but who is counting???? I think I can, I think I can, I think I can....... :)scrapnchathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14531203718391481300noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700757600458956993.post-1606890722886572352008-05-11T12:00:00.001-07:002008-12-10T11:33:47.053-08:00Mother's Day<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6RLG6aq_RijrytBOITPQLkUbQYm8KOSqmDcDPCKt5BDLIkF9cEovvHts2h3lnizmuJLFBGSCDnHeCAdbUze4UFkRjnMqLTtKoxMvdCoWUSxh0dJbd_PLFWvWoG733u8U0pBm7lcHXlzF0/s400/IMG_5375.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5199200674603411506" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNgTW1T5FxSPeg9j9-NnE-hRi934h7xfJ1i554-rshr2qFLJAXUlSS5kh7fgCGflUOnFm7jR6EUGH944GkkxgDPXY7JFEYrVqQSzoudEeYwa9IQ4wDkqFZEL71C5BaSVA8OHmnPxH54ky6/s400/IMG_5505.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5199200678898378818" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEKGvHBvuTcP5zY6tjoJQLE7sNPcvgrhWF2fs2xX5Rv3mTi9XCUPR9spRYhWA_HmwFdRE0BBRwfqE2bjFrIi2lqCgbvTnhyphenhyphena5cws5TyIvRhLMNRmd65UdJi2-P8bb6DfboG111kV23h6n6/s400/IMG_5515.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5199200683193346130" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvx3NNTO8PATfCwMb1rb6dcZULsf-muCAS0UhG3pZyUOQU3ratDS2y5OnCX203a4Ti_N5JkX2l3GznLJFiBe_OLuY1R8Ak5FVtWexTPFpzky1l7RAKA5H_uqtAgXLwr3inyIxrbMXDFaf8/s400/IMG_5580.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5199200687488313442" />
Happy Mother's Day. It has been a long time since I have posted. I have no excuse. Just busy.... Went to Bobby Mcgee's for dinner last night. The service was terrible and we were there forever! I am just sitting around in my jammies today. Since it is MY day, I choose to do nothing! O.k...I do want to do some scrapbooking and reading would be nice. I have been really bad and have not put my pages in books in several years. It has gotten so out of hand that I don't even know what order to put my pages in-they don't ALL have dates. Live and learn. I keep saying I won't let it get that out of control again but I know that will be a hard promise to keep.

Devyn's Brownie troop went to the animal shelter for Community Service day yesterday. It was really nice-well organized and informational. I had a hard time not wanting to take them all home. Devyn REALLY wanted another cat.

I wanted to post some pics of Cal Poly Pomona. Who knew that there was so much to do there? It is a really beautiful campus. Devyn has a dance mat that is loads of fun. She got it out when my brother and family were visiting. My neice, 19 months, jumped on the opposing dance mat as soon as she saw the lights and heard the music! Of course, she couldn't follow or step on the colors at the right time, but she thought she could....she just had fun jumping around, (and lying down) on the dance mat.

Devyn is in a year-round school so she is off for 3 weeks! I only have one of those weeks off-bummer.....she is tired of daycamp already. No worries-she has quite the social schedule. Her friends have "rescued" her here and there and kept her for the day-going to the park, swimming, etc. She is going to Disneyland Monday. She has a tap show at the Cerritos Performing Art Center tomorrow (did I get invited??? NO!!) Today we spent at the Bee for their Webkinz event. It was fun. Dev won "most unique" for her costume "Lucky" (the black cat)for their Project Webkinz Fashion Show. Now we are up to 20 Webkinz-much to her dad's chagrin.....where does Dev sleep with all of these Webkinz in her bed? Boy, I want to be 8 years old. Life is sooooo tough!scrapnchathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14531203718391481300noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700757600458956993.post-24635550509737741782008-03-08T00:54:00.000-08:002008-12-10T11:34:05.459-08:00Cookie Time!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqj9XENJTsoJ5Y2BqP8i1LOXlocXN3ih8X4dMt8xTTwDUharzW2XSI2bzkPhAAQXmpwwjEB90KnTy5kV_73LhznVYdE6nlm2tGCnUCoDBubukqLUQtpZ0kn524JB9uzxK_Wre9fk7pnw3E/s400/IMG_4599.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5175292767360115618" />
It's Cookie Time and I am going crazy.....we have sold about 330 and still going....did one booth sale and have another on Monday. Just when I think we are done, we end up getting more orders. Back to the troop leader's house I go (about 5 times in the last week and a half...) I know it will be worth it when the troop gets to partake in some awesome outings-but right now it is a nightmare!!! Have to go get ready for the Red Bee garage sale tomorrow. Not really good at "purging" my stuff. I am sure that my husband can attest to that!scrapnchathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14531203718391481300noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700757600458956993.post-82713187148924301002008-02-16T21:49:00.001-08:002008-12-10T11:34:05.837-08:00New layouts cont.....<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaOvFI8Aqo1cn-3zCDf2T8A7thNBdxoOoy9IkfvAxYtNSukyxHi7rPXCKUzg0Eqkq17gmJkPP0Wl_bKHCzvO4iMytV9SIHZ56If4xgJTN1NWBidOh7xXYBgOuv4gmBN8ISn7-A65z_of9F/s400/IMG_4574.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5167822799916252674" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVfhx9WBolLqc4jcG6DD01cO3HwmKXqnAJCnU8p3Ak2c0mOy1j543CqvmLijE7E7hl61B_VgRWQIlJPhtx_hyphenhyphenSlms3tr_INhMmwb5BjLxpnMz-Ygo8XfLtY2kvmFzv2eRvf2Jza98i3rP_/s400/IMG_4588.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5167822812801154578" />
Here are more layouts...sorry for the glare-not sure how to "take pictures of pictures" without the glare.
